The contact angle on all surfaces is 25 degrees, so Concus-Finn filaments can form. On entering the chamber, the filament continue along the sides until joining at the far end. The liquid does not fill the chamber, but forms a nearly-catenoid surface that makes the proper contact angle with the floor.
