The contact angle on all surfaces is 50 degrees, so Concus-Finn filaments do not form. The liquid is stopped by the corners at the entrance to the chamber. The liquid in this model is pressurized (note the upward bulge in the rear channel), but the pressure is not enough to get the liquid past the entrance.
