Two immiscible liquids between diverging rails.

The green liquid has a contact angle of 50 degrees with the rails, and the yellow liquid has a contact angle of 30 degrees. But the liquids are starting at a place where the rails are too wide to support them. So the liquids retreat to an equilibrium position.
